Archibat HR is seeking a highly skilled Interior Design Renderer on behalf of an internationally renowned practice that integrates Architecture, Interiors, and Landscape to craft holistic spatial experiences. Position
The Role
We are looking for a visually driven individual with a refined sensitivity to interior space, materiality, and atmosphere to join the Shanghai studio. In this specialist role, you will work closely with interior designers to produce exceptional renderings that convey the firm’s design vision across a range of high-end residential and hospitality projects. Your expertise in visualisation, lighting, composition, and image-making will be essential in translating design intent into compelling visual narratives.
Key Responsibilities
– Produce high-quality interior renderings at various stages, from concept through to design development, to support client presentations and design communication.
– Interpret design intent through atmospheric visuals with meticulous attention to lighting, materiality, spatial quality, and mood.
– Build and refine detailed 3D interior scenes, including furniture, finishes, fixtures, and styling elements.
– Collaborate closely with interior designers to translate drawings, sketches, and material palettes into accurate and evocative imagery.
– Generate still renderings and visual studies that clearly articulate spatial relationships and design concepts.
– Enhance and refine outputs through post-production using Adobe Photoshop to achieve a polished, professional finish.
– Ensure visual consistency and quality across all materials, adhering to the studio’s high design standards.
Profile
Requirements
– Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related discipline.
– Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience specialising in interior visualisation.
– A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality interior renderings, preferably with a focus on residential and/or hospitality projects.
– Advanced proficiency in 3ds Max as the primary modelling and rendering platform.
– Strong working knowledge of Corona Renderer for interior visualisation.
– Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for post-production and image refinement.
– Experience with D5 Render or other real-time visualisation tools.
– Familiarity with SketchUp for model coordination and integration.
– Exposure to AI-powered visualisation tools (e.g., Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Photoshop AI) to enhance workflow efficiency and iterative exploration.
– Deep understanding of interior lighting, materiality, composition, and spatial atmosphere.
– Keen eye for detail, proportion, and interior styling.
– Ability to interpret and translate design intent into compelling, emotionally resonant visual narratives.
– Detail-oriented, design-sensitive, and collaborative, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced studio environment.
