General Accountant – Manufacturing Sector (m/f)

Our client is a global leader in manufacturing, based in Luxembourg and several other countries. We are currently looking for an Accountant that is fluent in English and French to join this innovative manufacturing company.
Poste
As Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Performing daily and monthly journals entries and reconciliations;
- Assisting with annual Lux GAAP audits, monthly and annual VAT returns, monthly Intrastat declarations, year-end closing, as well as monthly or year-end stocktaking;
- Preparing and delivering information requested by auditors, regulators, creditors, and other third parties;
- Researching and suggesting changes and improvements to financial systems, including billing, accounts receivables, payables, budgeting, and forecasting;
Profil
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting;
- Accounting experience of 2-3 years;
- Good knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principal and practices;
- Knowledge of Lux GAAP;
- Knowledge of inventory movement operations;
- Proficient use of MS Office, particularly Excel;
- Strong organization skills, attention to details and accuracy;
- Knowledge of Business Central accounting software would be plus;
- Fluency in English and French.
