The Background Check division of THE RECRUITER specialise in providing comprehensive verification services designed to help employers make informed and secure hiring decisions.

From employment verification and criminal record checks to educational background and reference reviews, we deliver accurate, reliable, and timely results to minimise hiring risks and enhance workforce quality.

Poste

The HR Specialist conducts reference check services aligned with the Client’s requests, encompassing the following responsibilities:

  • Communicate with candidates and clients professionally, ensuring a first-class experience for both parties.
  • Deliver excellent client service when handling phone calls or correspondence.
  • Coordinate with all company counterparts while upholding the highest standards of quality.
  • Manage the reference checking process with objectivity and precision.
  • Safeguard client reputation and business interests by adhering to GDPR rules.
  • Meet client requests promptly by adhering to given deadlines.

=> Permanent employment contract – part time of 30h is possible.

Profil

  • Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
    • An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Experience:
    • Previous experience in a call center or customer service role (1-3 years is preferred).
    • Experience with CRM software is a plus.
  • Language Skills:
    • Proficiency in English; multilingual abilities (Spanish, French, etc.) are definitely an advantage.

  • Empathy: Ability to connect emotionally with candidate and client, ensuring they feel heard and valued.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
  • Resilience: Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure due to tight deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous when verifying candidate information and documenting their files.
  • Team Player: Willing to collaborate with colleagues to solve problems and improve client service processes.
  • Time Management:
    • Ability to handle a high volume of data or inquiries while maintaining service quality.
    • Efficient multitasking to manage simultaneous candidate and client conversations or follow-ups
  • Proactive: Actively seeks solutions to prevent issues from recurring and to improve the overall candidate and client experience.
