IT System Administrator

Company

Our client is a leading IT Security and PKI Services provider. The Company is based in Luxembourg and works with prestigious clients in several European countries. We are currently looking for an IT System Administrator.

Position

As an IT  System Administrator, you will have to assume following responsibilities:

Day-to-day

  • Deploy, administrate, operate, support and maintain following IT components:
    • Firewalls, routers and switches;
    • Microsoft Windows and Linux servers, workstations and laptops;
    • Virtualized environments; and
    • Oracle and PostgreSQL database servers.
  • Ensure potential security weaknesses that can impact the Company IT infrastructures are identified, reported and handled in a timely manner and in accordance to decisions taken by the Company management.
  • Manage the following with regard to the Company IT infrastructures:
    • Changes and incidents;
    • User access requests (creation, modification and removal);
    • Backups and restores; and
    • DRP testing activities.

Organisational

  • Assist the Company management in reviewing and improving the Company cyber and information security strategies, and in ensuring their alignment with the Company business strategy.
  • Support the following:
    •  IT projects impacting the Company business and internal services; and
    • The implementation of requirements specific to the PSF status and to the ISO/IEC 27001 standard.
  • Maintain the documentation specific to the deployment, administration, operations, support and maintenance of the Company IT infrastructures, and ensure it is up-to-date.
  • Update on a regular basis the Company assets inventory to ensure the adequacy of listed IT components.
  • Report on a monthly basis KPIs concerning the Company IT infrastructures.

Profile

You must:

  • Have at least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role;
  • Good knowledge in:

               – Firewalls, routers and switches (e.g. TCPIP, DNS, NTP, IPSEC)

               – Microsoft  Windows and Linux OS

               – Virtualization technologies; and 

               – Oracle and PostgreSQL

  • Hold a BAC+4  degree or relevant diploma in IT domain; and 
  • Be fluent in French and English. German and/or Luxembourgish will be an advantage.

  • Proactive, polyvalent, autonomous and very well organized;
  • Have the ability to solve issues and take decisions in a timely manner; 
  • Have good verbal and written communication skills; and
  • Act collaboratively with a high sense of confidentiality and integrity.
